I was afraid to start letting my kids help in the kitchen. Here are some things I've found that they can 'cook' with very little help. I like to start with foods that don't need a recipe.
* Scrambled eggs
* Soup or pasta from a can
* Spaghetti
* Grilled cheese
* Grilled peanut butter and jelly
* Mashed potatoes (instant varieties)
* Toaster waffles and pastries
* Anything in a microwavable dish
* Sloppy joes
* No bake cookies
* Chilled pizzas (cream cheese and veggies on pita bread)
* Smoothies (watch fingers near blenders)
* Oatmeal
